Details

FoM 28 was the 28th edition of the Festival of Miracles. It was held in South Korea following BTS victory in the twenty-seventh edition with song 'Not Today'.

Forty-six countries participated in the edition which was the highest number of participants in the history of FoM. Australia, Estonia, Ethiopia, Ireland, Montenegro, Netherlands and Liechtenstein announced their withdrawal from the contest mainly due to the poor results of the countries. After some ediitons Malaysia, Guatemala, Northern Ireland, Philippines, Spain, Türkiye, United States, Vietnam, Scotland, Lithuania and India return to competition.

The winner of the 28th edition was Wales. The winning song 'Scared of the Dark' performed by Steps scored 171 points (British dance-pop group consisting of Lee Latchford-Evans, Claire Richards, Lisa Scott-Lee, Faye Tozer and Ian "H" Watkins). Other countries on the podium were Vietnam, Tóc Tiên with song 'Big Girls Don't Cry' (136 points) and Albania, Summer Paradise by Rod & Ebba (131 points).
